Acupuncture is based on a system of pathways, or meridians, that form a network and link the tissues and organs into an organic whole. Disease occurs when the flow of Qi (energy) in the meridians becomes disrupted. These conditions can be influenced and altered by the insertion of acupuncture needles into points located along the meridians to regulate and balance the flow of Qi in the body.
Balanced Way personal sessions or group classes for women, offer techniques for self-care, stress relief, and wellness. Modalities may include acupressure, Qigong or other movement, breathing techniques, centering practices and more. These practices lead to relaxation and regeneration, allowing the body to use its wisdom to find health and balance. Balanced Way workshops share short, simple methods that fit into a busy lifestyle. Personal sessions are also offered.
